This is my first year bowhunting and my 5th year overall.Even though I didnt kill anything during early season I had a blast getting close to animals.I wasnt able to get them within range for me.Clssest call in was 80 yards.My set ups were bad due to inexperience .Learned alot though.I have only ever hunted elk in 550.So I was thinking on hunting 520,maybe 506 or 530.But I think Im going to stick to 520.Are the gates closed during late season in 520 like early season?.Do you park at gate and walk in or do they open some of the roads to access different parts of unit?
