I don't think your odds are much better than they are in teh state drawings unfortunately.  I wish I could justify the 300 fee.

They sell 1200 permits a year. If you buy a permit you're automaticly put into the Elk raffle.

I live less then a mile from the gate...so for me it's good. Year round access.

Scored a 359.

This is the legal hunting hours from the regs.
Mon Nov 3rdth – Sunday Nov 9th. 6:30am  to 5:15pm….. 

The picture was taken about 6:55am…

We were in a wooded area on the West side of the hill…with the camera flash it looked pretty dark.
