good job, I haven't hunted moose before, but there is a lot of info on here about them.
do some searching in here and you'll find some great info. As I can tell, the guys that hunt them that are on here will be lots of help. Don't forget to take a camera, we want pictures and the story..................good luck.

I was up there a few times over the last 2 weeks and saw moose everytime.  Last time in I saw 4 bulls in 1 evening.  Nothing huge but a couple real wide buggers.  We did see 1 on the east side of the Thompson Cr. drainage that looked pretty big in the spotting scope.  But he was a long way off.  If you spend anytime at all glassing the clearcut areas in the evenings.... you'll get one.

Good luck!

sam november is the month that everything changes. on the first there might not be much if any snow, by the 31st there will likely be at least 3 feet higher up. don't be discouraged!

At the Thompson Creek Gate as of Sunday afternoon, 2 bulls 35" and 42" and 9 cows had been taken.  I didn't see anything but deer on Sunday.

well guys i got my cow on thursday it wasnt one of the biggest but i figured i better take it while i had a chance cause i only had a week and it was almost up and heres how it went it was around 5:20 or so and we were starting to head down since we were a ways up the hill well on our way we saw a cow moose standing in the road and so we jumped out and it started to turn and go down the road pretty quick and i got my .270 out, planning to use the 7mm but i was too slow loading the shells, so i got the clip in and followed down the road almost shot once but then she turned and started walking away again so i didnt take the shot but then we were following her tracks and it looked like she went up into the bushes and trees but we walked a few feet down the road farther my dad looked around the corner while i watched the hill and there she was just standing there broadside great shot so i took my 270 shot her once pretty sure it was in the vitals but i reloaded the chamber and after she jumped i took another shot and she went down i was surprised how well the 270 worked but it did the job im getting the pics developed right now and thanks for all the info guys
