well guys i got my cow on thursday it wasnt one of the biggest but i figured i better take it while i had a chance cause i only had a week and it was almost up and heres how it went it was around 5:20 or so and we were starting to head down since we were a ways up the hill well on our way we saw a cow moose standing in the road and so we jumped out and it started to turn and go down the road pretty quick and i got my .270 out, planning to use the 7mm but i was too slow loading the shells, so i got the clip in and followed down the road almost shot once but then she turned and started walking away again so i didnt take the shot but then we were following her tracks and it looked like she went up into the bushes and trees but we walked a few feet down the road farther my dad looked around the corner while i watched the hill and there she was just standing there broadside great shot so i took my 270 shot her once pretty sure it was in the vitals but i reloaded the chamber and after she jumped i took another shot and she went down i was surprised how well the 270 worked but it did the job im getting the pics developed right now and thanks for all the info guys
