coyotes near eastern wa
« on: December 29, 2013, 05:43:36 PM »
Hello I'm new to this forum and am looking for some advice!  I'm headed to garfield/colfax area near brush creek to hopefully capitalize on some yotes. Anyone know good spots around spokane or within an hour or two? Any advice wouls be great! I shoot for higher capacity and montana gold bullet so the more yotes the better! Responsible respectful shooter for 15+ years.

Just find a place where you are allowed to hunt....there will be coyotes there.  There used to be some "feel free to hunt" east of Colfax, but beware, the last time I hunted there, I saw two wolves.

Do your best to get away from the road. They seem to be a little less nervous that way. 8) watch your wind, be safe and have fun.

Just be aware some farmers down around Colfax can be a little weird around hunters. I had a farmer tell me he liked coyotes b/c they ate a lot of mice.  :o. I told him they eat a lot of everything including family pets etc. This wasn't the only one time either I've heard it before. Anyone running cattle will let you shoot them for sure, just get permission.

If its not too far for you, the Yakima training center (ytc) used to have tons of yotes.  Welcome
