Blood on the snow!
« on: January 06, 2014, 08:43:36 AM »
Yesterd me and a buddy hit the hills in hopes of finding a
Few. Through great sign all day I thought it was only a matter if time.
We came up dry:( anyways, I found some blood on the snow by a moose bed. I followed it both ways (there was enough for a trail to be followed) for a while.and never found a shed. Deffintly a big bull moose. Anyone else have this happen to them?

ive been out looking for moose paddles last couple days with no luck, and ive also found a little blood on the snow, and thought id be finding a paddle any minute.  also been finding lots of clumps of moose hair in their beds.  beds / tracks / crap EVERYWHERE in the snow but cant find a damn shed.  did see 5 moose tho, one a young bull still packing both sides of his rack.
