Darton 3800 tune and speed
« on: January 11, 2014, 07:53:44 PM »
So got handed a darton 3800 to tune and I plan on getting the speed and accuracy rating too. Im going to mark the yards on slider pin for him and make sure his broadheads fly straight.  This is the first bow ive been handed outside work to tune.

Alright I tuned the darton the best I could and got bullet holes in papers. Took it to the chrono and.. hit 297fps with a 470gr arrow  hit 321fps with the 373gr arrow

Accuracy of this bow seems great so far, the grip is great and theres some shock at the shot but not bad. The draw cycle is smooth with a nice let down into the valley. This is a great bow and is well worth a look at if anyone is looking for something new the ds3814 I believe is the new one with some minor tweaks :hello:
