Certainly.. they were running through the hunting camp at night (tracks in the snow) 2 years ago and this year not even any fresh scat.
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

189 so far.  Closing in on 200 but harvest totals are down compared to last year around this time.  I have been speaking with people in Idaho who are hunting them and they believe that the wolves are becoming more cautious and are getting smarter, they are learning to stay away from traps.  What do you guys think?

Hunting and trapping might finally be having an affect.

Please hold in mind i know nothing about how often wolves reproduce and I'm basing that statement totally on the fact that unlike coyotes, which people have been trying to eradicate for hundreds of years now, wolves were once successfully exterpated.

I may be completely wrong.

Wolves were poisoned to get rid of em.  Coyotes just a nuisance, werent poisoned to the extent of wolves.  Wolves couldnt be eradicated any other way successfully. :twocents:

bump
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

In November U.S. manufacturing contracted for the the ninth consecutive month. Layoffs across the economy are higher than anytime since the pandemic in 2020 and I just read that the Midwest farmers will be receiving a 12B bailout due to 50 year trade relationships being destroyed. I have to admit that I was a sceptic and didn't believe in the effectiveness in tariffs but I'm a believer now.
