Idaho Fish and Game Trapping Stats?
« on: January 13, 2014, 03:08:46 PM »
I'm trying to find stats on trapping in Idaho per unit? I'm interested in Unit 1. In AK you get get the stats for each management area that break it down into number of species caught, trap type used, average number days trapped, and method of transportation, ex... snow machine, plane, Hwy, etc...

If anyone else knows of where I can find this please paste the link in or PM me with info thanks.

If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

I'm just wondering if there are many marten in Unit 1. More over to toward the Eastern side of it. Many fox in the Panhandle?

The Fish & Game office number that handles that region is 208-769-1414 if your interested. They would have what your looking for.

I tried to find this same info a couple years ago.  It is really hard to find without someone walking you through it.

It breaks it down by county and not by unit numbers.

Great info thank you! I'm surprised the number of cats caught in SW!!! There must be a couple full time guys doing good down there. Also surprised the lack of cats got in Bonner and Boundary. Plus the lack of marten, only 40 caught. Why are those marten selling so cheap? My marten can go over $200! Those averages like $35?

Thanks again, may have to go break these stats ;)

I bet alot of it has to do with the amount of snow they normally get, feet upon feet!  Not talking about the prices, talking about the numbers.
