Ive been getting this deer on camera for the last few months. She has a tracking collar and tags in both ears with the number 3.
Anyone know what study this might be for? The deer is near Deer Park.

whitetail migration tracking.  The heard in that area is one of the few whitetails heards that migrate 20+ miles in the country, I believe thats the correct information that I read during a study.  I will see what I can dig up. I remember reading one does they tracked went from her summer and fall grounds on the banks of the PO all the way to the little PO refuge during the winter and spring months at over 20miles as the crow flies.
I could be dreaming all this, but I know I read about it somewhere.

Maybe this was the article I read a while ago.  Not sure if it has anything to do with ol' no. 3 but it's my best guess.

She is a thief, the ankle bracelets kept falling off. They are trying to figure out where she stole those earrings.

Interesting.
In the link that 92 provided it said that North Central High was involved in the study.  Maybe make contact with them and shoot the picture over to them.

Of course, we'll ask that you post a map of the deers activities so we can figure out where at least one of your camera sites are.   :chuckle:

Yeah I had remembered reading about that study a few months back, but I didn't know if they had collared deer that far south.

I think she's a troubled doe that attacked and mauled some campers at a state park last summer. They had to relocate her. Watch out, if she offends again, they may have to put her down.

Interesting huh?  It's amazing how far those deer migrate down southward to the lake.  It's also amazing how many get pulverized while crossing US 395 on their way down there   :'(
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.
