I would rather see 135 does shot than 135 small bucks out of those units.

You couldn't shoot a small buck in the Swakane? Three point minimum?

If we are talking the entiat and swakane a 3pt is not nor should it be a big buck.  These to units are our trophy quality units and they are not producing like they should.  Closing them down would have been great but not possible with the amount of hunters in our state.  I would just like to see monster bucks in there again.

as long as thousands of archers from all throughout the state fill this unit it will continue to diminish.I guarantee their are more deer wounded by archers than killed in this unit!since they opened it for either sex it got even worse for the mortality rate, wounded animals, and population of people.we have entirely to many people in this state to have a unit this small open that time of the year to either sex with an unregulated amount of people!shouldnt worry to much anyhow you have 101 to hunt.as archers you seen to that.

If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

As I was reading through this thread I was thinking "sumbudy oughta call Teacherman and let him know"... I was starting to think you were out celebrating the news and would be "unavailable" until about noon tomorrow... :chuckle:
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
