New Waterfowler Lookin for Tips
« on: January 09, 2014, 09:11:53 PM »
Hey guys. I recently moved back here after being stationed in Kansas for the last 4 years. I got way into Duck hunting while I was there and am dying to get out there and knock down some birds. I've got everything I need except for a dog and/or a boat. I;m looking for some places I can go for the weekend either within an hour drive from North Bend or somewhere that doesn't have a bad place to camp out. I'm looking for a shallow spot considering I don't have any deep water retrieval resources. I've realized that that's kinda hard to find on the west side and I;m still in the army so it's pretty tough to get out there and do alot of scouting because of my busy schedule. Any tips would much appreciated. I cant wait to hear from y'all. Thanks

Kelly

There are three spots on SR203 between Carnation and Monroe look at the wdfw web site. If the river starts coming up and spilling into the fields you may be able to get some action.
