i was drawn for the late season buck tag down for the palouse area.  had limited time to hunt so ended up taking this guy the second time i went out.  not a monster but i was happy with him.  about the same size as the one i got last year off the same property last day of general season.  here are a few pictures.

Ill take 'Buck Fever' over 'Swine flu'...

Nice buck bighorn. Did you and gutpile draw partner tags? Congrats on him.

it was GMU 127.  was on a high school friends farm of valley chapel.  we saw a real bruiser but he was alot smarter then us and never presented us with another opportunity.  i could have pry gotten soemthing bigger (theyre out there)  but i had really limited hunting time this year due to the kids and work.

yes i sent gutpile some pics on his phone last night and emailed him some others.  i think its about the same size as his,  maybe a smidge bigger.  either way its jerky and pepperoni sticks in the fridge.  between the two of us were going to be snacking on venison every hunting trip the rest of the year.

no sage, we just both happend to get drawn for late season buck down south.  he hunts much further south then i do for deer in general/late seasons.
