First bear rug

Took these pictures a while back, figured I might as well post them.  This is my first bear rug from the bear I shot last September.   I got it back in August of this year.  Bruce Tediesky of Wildlife Art Taxidermy in Whatcom Count did a great job on him. 

I didn't keep the skull from this bear, I don't know why, I just didn't think I had anything to do with it at the time.  But I did keep the skulls from my bear this year.  I just had my Great Uncle put the smaller of the two on a plaque European style.  I don't have any pictures yet, but I will post them when I do.  It looks really nice.  I am having my bigger bear of the year done at a beetle farm so that one will take a bit longer to get back.

Did you send in the other bear skull yet Shane?  How much do those cost?  Are you going to put it on a plaque?

nice looking rug.  cant wait to get one for myself!!  well worth the money for something so nice!  why does everyone put them on the wall thought they were supposed to go on the floor in front of the fire place so you could do the horizontal hokey pokey on them?  :chuckle:

Very cool, can't wait to get mine back. Not sure where it's going. I know bighorns2bushytails isn't getting anywhere near it though.
