The buck is just over 21" wide, and by looking at his teeth, he looks to be 3 1/2 years old.  He was in full rut and very stinky, so I expected him to taste nasty, but we ate the tenderloins the evening she killed him and they were very tasty.  He was 124lbs. of hanging meat, not bad.

The guys that helped were great.  We had seen them and talked to them everyday and they were very nice.  We really didn't need there help, but they insisted and saved us a lot of time and sweat which I really appreciated.  Hopefully we'll see some pics of their monster bucks on here, I told all of them about this site.  Thanks for all of the great coments.

Nice looking buck. How many points did she have? Looks nice and dry out for mid november. We weed some snow up there.

Great Job T!   Great first deer!!!   Good guiding Norse.   I have been out hunting and about the only thing I was wondering about the forum was how she was doing up there once the fog lifted.  I came over Blewitt  in one of the biggest rainstorms in a long time(Tuesday I think)   and wondered if you guys were out in it.  If you were, I was hoping you had found a big tree and was on the right side of the creek. :)

Craig, unbeleivably she had only two points and drew the mission tag (3rd choice) and a bumping bull tag (3rd choice).  I on the other hand I went 0 for 4 states!!!!  Maybe next year, she can guide me!

What a pretty deer. Next year you should let her fill out and send in your applications she has it figured somehow.
