Picked up my Color Phase Bear!

My bear rug is home!  Now where to put him!  We will have to do some rearranging. Sorry for the cell phone pic!

That is really unique color phase.  I got a chocolate phase in 2010.  Would be nice if you posted some more picks from different angles.  Very nice rug.  Did you get it east of the Cascades?  I have read that in some areas up to 40% are color phase.

Awesome color right there. I have only seen one blond like that and of course i was at work, ran across the tracks in front of me about 4 days before the season started.

I shot him in Eastern Wa. just over the mountains  and the other photo was a head shot, but I couldn't get the photo turned the right way.  The pictures didn't turn out to good when I shot him due to just before dark harvest.  I have some of the cape the day after taking him.
Here's a picture of him on the ground, not a big bear,( a two year old) but it may be my only opportunity to take a blonde bear.  He had some rubbing on his shoulders or he may have been more of a cinnamon colored bear.  I'm glad I took him!


Here is one of his head.....if someone wants to turn the picture!!
