Need some help with birds.
« on: November 15, 2008, 07:20:29 PM »
Finally have some time off from school and was hoping to do a little grouse or quail hunting. I looked into some of the reserves around Spokane and the closest one seems to be Revere. From what I have read so far this does not seem too promising. I dont have a dog just want to do some hiking and hopefully shoot a couple birds. If anyone has any recommendations I would appreciate it. I want to stay somewhat near Spokane. Thanks a lot.

get a peek at a blm map, look at the small parcels west of town, them's goooood for quail. as for grouse, well if there is trees and water odds are good there are grouse. I know of only one spot that holds both grous and quail, but I am gonna be stingy on that spot.
