Back from the revere

hey guys back from the revere, and what a day  it started with me falling the dirt early with my dog on point and the rooster flushes and never to be seen again, then i couldn't hit a darn quail, i was shooting so bad i haven't had one of those days in a long time, well any way i though i found a honey hole and all i got was a porcupine that my dog that it would be OK to pick up and boy did he learn, i spent the rest of the day pulling quills and he is doing fine now, i hope he learned his lesson not to mess with them again. just curious, how do you teach your dogs to leave them alone to prevent this sorta problems.

 Good to hear you got into some birds. Any of those places I mentioned pan out? Im heading down that way this weekend to try and call som yotes. If I see alot of birds Ill let you know. BTW where was the porky at? Last one I saw down there was just outside of Lamont.

at the revere drive down wagner road until it ends, get out go past the gate over the hill and keep going. you'll see a bunch of reads, and in it in a flooded out area.

So that was your gray 4 door 4x4 parked there with the Colville license decoration. Mine was the tan Toyota with the tan canopy.

no mine is a  green ford ranger with a headache rache tool box, with a big fox sticker on the back window, and pheasant hunter stiacker on one side and if it flies it dies on the other, no colville license decoration

My pup at the moment points them.  I just get him going in a different direction and have someone else take care of the ball of needles.  If my pup decides in the future he wants to go after them, it will be a session of shock therapy.  Which has worked on his early season Sheep and Deer Chasing, he now justs looks from a distance thinking "better not get to close those things can shoot lightning"
