Also have 14 points and have already applied, but won't draw for 3-4 more years. I'm approaching retirement and may be an AZ resident someday, which will change thins a lot...including my 15 deer points

its the restricted limit on non-resident tags that makes it so tough.
but I'll keep applying for the next 5 years.
than call it quits.
up to 9 points so far. Hoping to get lucky for units 3a or 3B

I went shed hunting last year in the 3's and was surprised to find more in 3B than in 3A.

You cannot. On your 5th year of applying, you are awarded a non cumulative loyalty point. You will get one each year you continue to apply so long as you do not stop. You can also get a non cumulative point for attending hunters safety in Arizona. No, mailing them your certificate from another state won't cut it.

Don't let them slip buy you only live once , by then units 9 and 10 will take more to draw.

the odds say non-resident it will take max points to draw in unit 9 which I think is already at 22 and unit 10 took 19 last year for non-resident but with offering 100 tags this year instead of the 75 last year that means 3 more non-residents should draw this is for early rifle

Early Rifle in Unit 9 was not offered last year, unit 10 had 7 NR tags of which all had over 19 points

Actually this year I hunted down near Springerville. I am not a resident unfortunately. Just keep putting out the $$$ like all the rest of the Non Residents. Good luck on your draws.

So whats it cost to just get points? I would be interested in starting i would even be interested in just finding a unit with lots of action for the first time doesn't have to have monster bulls just lots of action. I have 9 points in Washington for archery i might as well start to put in some where else to.
