My concern with putting anything on them is then I lose any chance I had of a grip on them.
On the arrow.
huh... my aluminums don't stick like that.
I have Axis arrows with the camo, brutal to get them out of anything I learned to give them a little twist as I start to pull with my arrow puller and it helps a lot. They do get better once the camo starts to fade. Now on the other hand FMJ's are two finger removal
Is the dog helping you pull?

Now on the other hand FMJ's are two finger removal Twisting them to break the bond does make you think it's a good idea and help, but it's a great way to create a place for the arrow to break. That's the weak direction of the arrow because of the way they are made/wrapped/woven. You'll put micro-cracks in the resin-to-carbon interface making a weak point.
