Ocean shores

I have been thinking about heading to ocean shored to hunt the waterfowl hunting area and I was wondering if it is better to hunt on incoming tide or outgoing tide? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Incoming, but get out there before the high so will know the bottom contour/ditches. They disappear with the incoming water.
