Firesteel
« on: January 21, 2014, 01:01:24 PM »
I received a request to make a couple knives for someone and they had a specific type of handle material the wanted.  After purchasing the material, I wanted to make use of the 1" that was left from each scale.  I frequent another forum about "Bushcrafting" and saw this idea for a firesteel.  Not sure why I never thought of it, but below is a picture of the knife and my firesteel Armageddon lying around.  It made good use of that last little bit of scale material.  Also this is one of the knives that was made.  The wood is a rosewood burl.

Can you do bear tracks as well?

That is a great looking knife.  Do you have a website or price sheet?

Soon, maybe.  I do this as a hobby and only a couple a month or so.  I have made 1 or two for some members on here.  I guess its time to pay the "sponsors" fee and talk more about the cost of these knives.

Thanks for the kudo's
