Hunted in that area last year.You will be hard pressed to find huntable public ground. Most of the BLM land in that area is worthless.The ground that isn' worthless looked like a pumpkin patch with all the huntets on it. Won't be going back to that area!
Sorry, but I am not familiar with those areas. The game department is great for information, they will email you a list of every landowner that allows hunting on their property. Then you just call and ask the landowner to find out what their fee is. I would recommend just applying for the region Y tag for bucks $326 and buying the doe tag on top of that, $48 I believe. Region Y was a guaranteed draw last year, but means nothing for this coming year. The biggest thing for my trip was buying the landowner GPS chip, I would have been lost without it. There is also good info on the Wyoming website as far as walk in hunting areas. Good luck on your hunt.If you decide on region C pm me and I will go into more detail for you.Aaron
I'm tagging along on this thread!!! I've always wanted to do this exact same hunt. Very interested post as much as your willing about the specs on it as you prep for it... I'd love to do this hunt with my wife
