Scope for '53 Winchester Model 70
«

I recently inherited a '53 Model 70 and am trying to decide what to replace the period weaver scope with.
I lean towards Leupold but I wondered if there would be a more period looking option that I could still hunt with?

My '57 M70 featherweight has a fixed power 4x Leupold on it. Looks great and shoots even better.

Old Weaver K4's are probably the most "period" optics

One od the old Bausch & Lomb Balvar scopes. You'll need adjustable bases also.
