So I've narrowed it down to these two spotting scopes but not sure which to go with. Weight isn't a huge issue but the info they show for comparison I don't really understand. Which would you go with and why?

60. 80 is too big to carry all over the woods. Even the 60 is big but I wouldn't go any bigger. Takes up too much room. Weight aside.

I'm wanting one that I glass deer and elk from way out. Don't know all that much about optics. What would be the viewing difference between the two? There's about a pound difference between the two.

First two numbers are its focusing range 20-60 then the third nummber is the size of the lens on the end. Bigger the lense the more you see but becomes overly bulky sometimes. So 20-60x80 is its focusable from 20x to 60x zoom and its got a large 80mm lense.

Its a personal preference.  I prefer a 60x, 80mm spotter.  Is it big and heavy? YES!  Is it worth the weight to me? YES!  Its worth it when you can count points and see eyeguards, growth rings, etc rather than only being able to see frame size or horn presents.  What are your specific uses?

Then there is no debate here! 60x 80mm is the only option!

That 80mm objective lense will help to gather more light. It will help at first and last light and glassing into the dark timber.

thats the scope I have. It has served me very well hunting and shooting. Can spot rifle shots at 1000 +  yards. Great spotter for me. Soul have loved the razor hd but out of my pay grade.

Hit up elknut, he can answer any question you have and give you a good price on your scope.  Also, watch ebay.  Gr8fulDoug (cameralandny.com) sells all his customer returns and demo models for super cheep.  I picked my spotter up last year for a steal.  It was a customer return.  The guy didn't like the straight lens so he sent it back.  Completely 100% new condition, box, all paperwork intact.
