Gotcha. Just clarifying from the other posts.
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I dont think that price is to bad honestly. Look at what the elk tags go for, and how much cooler a goat is :twocents:

I didn't catch his name, two guys were going head to head from about $12,500 until it sold at $15,500.  Hopefully we can hear the story after the hunt!

Just a few years ago this tag was selling in the $5-8000 range. The last couple of years it has really jumped up.

Ok guys, I havent been on here for a while since temporarly moving to Chicago... So the skinny on the whole Goat tag is as follows...

My Good Friend Ben from Bellingham who was by my side and filmed my Goat hunt on Mt.Baker back in 2012 has been wanting the tag ever since, along with a few others as well who bid against him  :yike:

As many of you know Aron Snyder is one of my good friends and on my hunt as well.  We agreed that if Ben got the tag we would assist him in scouting and during the hunt.  So the plan is after I complete a Mid September Muzzleloader Elk hunt in Colorado with Aron, he will ride back here to WA with me and help Ben with his Goat hunt the rest of the season.

No Sponsors were involved to purchase the tag, just a lot of Hard work and Sacrifice by Ben running his own successful business over the years.

We will be pimping the Hell out of Kifaru Back packs and Kryptek Camo while trying to find a new state or maybe world record Billy!!!

BChaser will be up there again with us as well along with a few others like ShaneVG...

This Tag is getting expensive now and way out of my reach ever again, so I will have to live threw others on these hunts.  I am looking forward to helping Ben find a Billy that will Bury mine deep in the books, and they are definetly here to be had!

Oh ya also Looking forward to filling my New Kifaru nomad this season with 100lbs of gear and meat and grinding it out on the trail back to  the Truck at Midnight again!!!!  Oh the memories, thats why we all do it right!!!!!
