Japan Band?

Shot this off of a drake pinny last day of the season i tried reporting it and they said it is not there format and they gave me a number where i left a voicemail at. The band says KANKYOSHO TOKYO JAPAN, Could this pinny be from japan?

Could be because migratory birds from Asia end up in Alaska.  That's why there is concern a bird from Asia will carry the bird flu up into Alaska and spread it to the birds that migrate south into North America.  The biggest surprise would be why doesn't the US Fish and Wildlife have Japan bird banding info since we have a treaty with them and other countries?

I've heard of a few pintails with bands from japan as well. Definitely a rare kill congrats!!! :tup:
