Black Bear Down!!!

Not really, I'm just practicing saying that. I've got a good feeling about this year...

Now, I just have to figure out the WDFW permit process for Spring Season. What a confusing web site. I bought my license and tag. I think I have to put out another $6.60 plus the $0.50 dealer fee for the "52 - SPECIAL HUNT APPLICATION BEAR". Does that automatically enter me into the drawing? It's totally unclear.

Looking forward to Spring Bear and if that doesn't pan out, there always Fall General starting August 1st. If I don't get a Spring permit, I'm still going to be stalking them all Spring, just not with a gun... but with a camera.

You have to buy the app "6.50" and then submit it with your unit choices.

I'm totally unimpressed with WDFW. Can anything be more vague and unintutive?

So, I paid the $6.60 plus the $0.50 dealer fee. The site indicates I just purchased a 10 day temporary license! WTH? I have a screen capture if anyone doesn't believe me.

Now I'm suppose to be able submit a special hunt application? Maybe they could have provided follow on instructions or a link. What a total Fail.

Your government at work....  pffff....

That is your temp until the new printed one shows up in the mail.

Now you need to go in and submit your app. Pick your units and submit them.

Click the link at the top right and get it in.

OK, Thanks guys. I'm excited... I picked my four areas. Now I'm going to sit back and  :bash:
I really enjoyed last years general season - up until Deer and Elk season opened up. Really looking forward to the Spring prospects.
