It was a great year for the most part. We started off the year with an early goose hunt and knock down 17 banded geese in the first flock of the year!

My buddies private spot we managed a big flock of mallards on a small pond and stream in the middle of a pasture for the whole last week of the season.  With the fog we just took singles or doubles until Saturday.  By the last day of the season our spot was banged up good and with only 1 duck in the bag the golden eye decided to make a few close passes then my buddy could not keep his finger off the trigger.  But is was the first and only diver we seen all week and must of been pushed over to us from the weekend pressure.

Took one of the old girls out this season and had a great time with 7/8 oz  shot in 12 ga. 2 1/2" shells.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Make mine a Minaska

One big pile of coots!  Nice on the cacklers and you have more geese lined up than I have in dsd's.  Always nice to bag one or two on the east side a season which doesn't happen often for me.
