Man i'd love to be there at that "discussion". When i attended, a few snows ago, these "discussions" would make the rounds. I would LOVE to be there to ask some inconvenient questions. Unfortunately challenging questions are likely to be glossed over. I always liked asking the questions they didn't want to answer. Since i won't be attending here are a couple Id LOVE to ask.
How come its a wolf recovery when WA has ALWAYS had wolves. WDFW closed coyote hunting in the Pysaden in the 90's to protect them, and there have been sightings/accounts of them in papers like the seattle times since the 60's?
When did the "experimental population" in YNP become natural?
How can ID bring in wolves from the McKenzie Valley to repopulate wolves If there are subspecies like the "Mexican " red wolf?
There are several questions that you can ask that are NOT confrontational but expose the hypocrisy to anyone paying attention. I would encourage you and others on campus to do so... These sales pitches...Um i mean "Discussions" likely will just regurgitate talking points and wont engage real questions. Multiple people asking questions in a specific order off the same question sheet can have a devastating effect on the tone of one of these events. I wish i was there so i could use some of the guerrilla activist tactics that we have seen from the left.
