Wolves in Washington State Exhibit at CWU
« on: January 31, 2014, 01:41:02 AM »
I noticed a flyer on campus a couple of weeks ago about this new exhibit in the Museum of Culture and Environment which is located in Dean Hall. The exhibit opened today and I have provided a link to the page which will explain what it's about. Conservation NW came to CWU two years ago in what was an obvious political move of promoting their pro-wolf agenda on the clueless future contributing members of society (link to article provided below for reference). Anyways, this a traveling exhibit that comes from UW which makes it easy to assume that the pro-wolfers are pimping their agenda with the exhibit, which I suspect is most likely the case. I will say this though, the building where this exhibit is located houses the Anthropology, Environmental Studies, and Geography departments and I have taken multiple classes with some very, very open-minded professors which makes me curious as to what they think about wolves. Also, a discussion is scheduled for February 27th, at 5:30 PM on the first floor of Dean Hall. I thought this info was interesting and figured I would share it with you. As you can see, this is my first post but I've been lurking on the forum for several months now (annoying, I know). I'll make sure to be more interactive in the future and try to keep everyone posted. By the way, my opinion on wolves is very simple in case you were wondering. I hate them.

Wolf hater!  :chuckle: :chuckle: Thanks for that. Welcome to the forum, Mike. If you're able to post any pictures of the actual exhibit and verbiage, we'd love to see it.

Man i'd love to be there at that "discussion". When i attended, a few snows ago, these "discussions" would make the rounds. I would LOVE to be there to ask some inconvenient questions. Unfortunately challenging questions are likely to be glossed over. I always liked asking the questions they didn't want to answer. Since i won't be attending here are a couple Id LOVE to ask.
How come its a wolf recovery when WA has ALWAYS had wolves. WDFW closed coyote hunting in the Pysaden in the 90's to protect them, and there have been sightings/accounts of them in papers like the seattle times since the 60's?

When did the "experimental population" in YNP become natural?

How can ID bring in wolves from the McKenzie Valley to repopulate wolves If there are subspecies like the "Mexican " red wolf?

There are several questions that you can ask that are NOT confrontational but expose the hypocrisy to anyone paying attention. I would encourage you and others on campus to do so... These sales pitches...Um i mean "Discussions" likely will just regurgitate talking points and wont engage real questions. Multiple people asking questions in a specific order off the same question sheet can have a devastating effect on the tone of one of these events. I wish i was there so i could use some of the guerrilla activist tactics that we have seen from the left.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Pianoman, I'll see what I can do.

Special T- Don't you worry, I'll make sure to be a big thorn in the side of the wolf lovers running this dog and pony show.
