My dad made a similar one when we were younger, but ran the PVC tubes to the top of the bucket or neck of the bell. It allowed more heat to blow into the tubes. When you pull them down 6-8" or more you trap heat in the bottom or top of the bucket. It probably wouldn't hurt to put a few 1/2"-3/4" holes in the top of the bucket so more heat goes into the legs of the waders when they are pulled all the way down.
Anybody else have any "inventions" that worked well?
