Well, he is wearing a Seahawks shirt, he's with Joe Namath, and they're both wearing fur coats, so...

Now, if a "Puff Daddy is the shiznit" thread popped up with just him sporting his non-fur fashion line... then I would have to agree with you and say "Well played, Internet - you win."

I think he was out of place because, in your own words, the event was largest sporting event in the country and the athletes that had worked so hard for this day. Joe could have respected that and presented himself with the dignity of the moment but he chose to make the moment about himself. A bit cheezy I thought.

Its all part of the show. Did the half time show take away from the athletes who worked so hard for this day? The continuous commercial breaks? The "Super" bowl is supposed to be a grandiose occasion and that jacket only built up the show that much more... Look people today aren't just talking about the game; we are talking about the commercials, the half time show and even the guy tossing the coin.
