Bow sight recommendation

I am thinking about upgrading to a new bow this spring. Even if I don't do that, I plan to upgrade my sight and maybe rest on my current bow. I would like to keep it at the $100 or less range if possible. My sight now is a 5 pin tru glow lower end quality sight. I have thought about going with the single pin sight but am just worried about the idea of drawing back and having the critter move and not being able to adjust. Thoughts?

Spot Hogg. Real Deal is a 5 pin. Solid as a rock and I like the adjustments. You can really fine tune the pins. I used this sight for a couple of years then switched last year to the SDP. Great sights.

Tag,   Just wondering why so many like the spot hogg   I bought a new sight last year, a tru glow. I looked at the spot hogs, they do look strong, but for me the pins were too large.

Years ago I used a Fine line crosshair sight, Loved it. The point is, there is nothing wrong with a lower cost sight, It's all about the person operating the equipment, shooting form, etc.

Look into a Trophy Ridge React 5 pin sight.... looks a little bulky at first but the technology is spot on.

I run a 5 pin Spot Hogg Real deal, but will upgrade to a 7 pin before next year.

They sell different size pins if a guy wants something different. You can order your sight from them on the web set up with pin size and colors of your choice.

They are rugged and built like a tank, but heavy.

Before that I ran Copper John and they always performed just fine. Never had any issues.

Huh?  Then go with the .10 pins on the spot hogg.  They come in three different size pins...........

I have the Black Gold five pin with the cover that changes colors and I have to do repairs to it every year. And I don't consider my hunting style as abusing it in any way, not even close.  I have cracked the purple cover every year & replaced it, also had fiber optic troubles with sagging & breakage.  I even keep a small sock over it for protection while hiking. They do send me two new covers etc every time I send an email to Montana for free but I feel it should be a lot tougher.

Save some cash and get a hunter hogg it.  Awesome sight awesome company.  I had my old hogg it strip out I called spott hog sent it to them on Thursday and had it returned to my house by the next Monday.

Ive shot Spot-Hogg for 15+ years.......bought them straight from Spot-Hogg for 100 bucks apiece.  Although Ive played with other sights, nothing has compelled me to change.  Hog it is IMO the best.

I got my first bow recently and I put a HHA single .019 on it. It seems to be nice.
