I bet it's pretty nasty cleaning that carcass out    :puke:

Elk are stinky enough as it is
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Last time I looked (I COULD BE WRONG)

6 Grains X 84 lbs = 504 grains.  Therefore, your arrow has to be 504 grains or more to be legal arrow weight in Washington.

If I am wrong someone will post it up.

That is why I jump to 72 lbs because of that rule.

If you get a chance shoot an Easton ACC out of that bow at 84 lbs.  I bet you will be swinging hard at 320 - 325 FPS.

That 6" drop will be at 3"

I shoot this bow better at 84 than my Z7 at 72.

One of the reasons I would give up bowhunting if I was forced to shoot a Z7.  I'd keep bowhunting if forced to use a twisted car wreck with hubcaps though.  But, my 84# days are long, long gone!  With todays performance bows I've actually been thinking of dropping down to 55#.  Just like my target bows.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I agree with you on the Z7.

I wasn't there for that part of it thankfully.  It was a follow up shot and not the first arrow in the animal.

Went to kenmore this afternoon for 3 hours and shot about 100 arrows. Here's an 80 yard group with the bow
