I need help
« on: November 12, 2008, 06:05:54 PM »
I have a switch on my lens.....its very important...image stabilization   I have a choice of O or l    Do any of you know the universal symbol for on versus off is.   I took pics of my buck live before I stalked him and I think I had it set to off.  The pics suck.  ARGHHHHHHH   I don't want to make the same mistake again.  Light sucked but shouldn't have mattered.

'O' is an open circuit. 'I' is a closed circuit. 'I' on 'O' off.

I saw some of Lil Bone's pics of you and your big gun.  It looks like a 500.  I have a 300 and when I enable the AF I can feel and see the image stabilizer kick in.  And as others said, "1" is on and "0" off, kind of a computer digital thing.  BTW - lots of good pics you have been posting.
