Aoudad Hunting
« on: February 06, 2014, 12:58:11 PM »
Buddy and I are looking into one of these free-range Aoudad hunts. Anybody do one of these hunts? Advice and can recommend an Outfit?

Thanks in advance.

They are pretty smart animals.  I've hunted them a few times on the YO.  I'd say only the fallow deer were harder to stalk.  Unfortunately for me the one I wanted put his horns back just as I shot and my arrow found horn instead of his heart.  Lucky bugger  :chuckle:  I continued to hunt just the one ram and was unable to get another quality shot.  They sure make a neat trophy mount.  I enjoyed the hunt enough it is on my list of things to do again.  I think you are really going to enjoy it.

Where are you looking to do this hunt?
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
