 :yeah:

I bet when all is said and done you would be into it for around 3 grand.  Think I will stick to my hunting partner surplus army tent.

Buy a regular wall tent you won't be disappointed.  Had the same wall tent for the last 15 years, never a leak and no reason for using a tarp on it.  Tent is up from 9/1-11/5 typically every year.  Still never unterstood why guys tarp their tents.

I have two Montana Canvas tents that I've been using for 20 years. I don't tarp and they don't leak. I run wood stoves in both.
And I think God must be a cowboy at heart

Article oven is too hot for Washington.  Great in snow but really made for Alaska weather.  Rugged have a friend hat used one for a 40 day bush hunt.

They are great tents, I have one I bought new 5-6 years ago, have used it all over the west and it's great. Wall tents have their place as well as these. The Artic Oven is lighter and faster to put up, but not as roomy nor does it have that "Elk Camp" feeling, but situation determines what I use... They are quality and great tents... :twocents:

That looks like a TINY tent for the price

I personally have an alaknak 12x12 with the vestibule (so its really 18x12) and All the goodies, and use it year round, It's light enough for warm weather, but is enough for the cold stuff, and sets up in about 30 minutes, only thing I don't like sometimes is it has a sewn in floor so dirt and crap collects, but I toss a queen sized cot bed in it, a small table and chairs, i got the Colorado cylinder stove with the stack robber oven for baking goodies and it really holds in the heat, and dont forget the Thermoelectric fan, roof protector panel, interior heat reflector panel..

2500$ gets you pretty much all of those goodies, and weighs under 300lbs with everything and packs nicely into my 20 foot sailboat, which makes basically any beach paradise. Just add a cooler full of cold ones and the mistress

Functional luxury
catch it. kill it. cook it. eat it.
Forget the bear spray, use wasp killer. Concentrated delivery stream, 10X the product, and only $3.00 on sale.

I smoke two fish in the morning, I smoke two fish at night, I smoke two fish in de afternoon makes me feel alright

I have a "Reliable" canvas tent.  It's the Kodiak model.  Love it!  It's 12x15' footprint and 9'6" in center.  Bought it in 2008 and has never leaked.  Also, easy set up with three center poles, rather than frame.  I've used it for pack in trips into the Oregon wilderness, plus it's set up every year in WA archery elk camp.  BTW, the snap in floor is nice!

Have a look, you won't be disappointed.

Here's the same tent that et1702 posted a link to for $280 less. et1702, I hope you didn't buy your tent from Vermont's Barre, could have damn near bought a stove for the price difference.
