Matt, we'll take the 11 under advisement. as to the closed range, I got a call from the shoot chairman (who is the one that yelled at you) that HE got a complaint about the proximity of the dinosaur target to the back of the course. I wasn't there for setup of the course, but when i pulled that target, i could easily see the concern! straight shot from the back of the course! we'll be discussing that at our next meeting. I agree with the decision to halt shooting until that target was pulled, but notice should have been handled better.also, with trophies. I think Rob was expecting people to pick up their award whenever they were leaving, as lots of people were turning in scores and not sticking around. We'll work towards a solution to that, as well! Thanks for the feedback, and hope to see everyone back for the IBO March 20-30!Heath
Matt, can I ask what the difference is between scoring an X and an 11?
AHA! Thanks for that explanation. i guess as a guy that knows he won't be near the top of the leaderboard I never considered that! This year's 3D shoots have already been advertised with non-IBO rules (other than the IBO, obviously!) but I'll add it to the minutes to bring up for next year. As long as we can take only the scoring from IBO and not all 1,543 shooter classes, I'm good with the change!
