Another pretty good day. Hope this nasty weather keeps up.
Not very good picture. Left to right
civet, rat, otter, otter, beaver, possum
Nice possum if there is such a thing. First one this year for me.

I see my photography skills are lacking but anyway caught this small one today and of course more civets.
Good thing is I saw to cats today. One was keeping this one company and ran off when I drove up. The other I scared off a bait I had hung up. Of course I set a trap. So now I have to dream about them hoping they come back.

Maybe you'll notice all my civets are looking wet now. Reason: I had to change my kill method on them. I'm still using the CO2 but I had several come back to life and I had to regas them. Now after they are unconsious I pour some water in the trap for a few minutes as insurance against them recovering. I was wasting too much CO2 and they all have to be washed anyway.

Looks like your going get more money from civet cats than bobcats this year. Awesome.

Caught one of the looky loos from yesterday plus another. Water sets have gone dead. Probably pick them up next time. They needed to be moved today but not enough time.

Next time I see you Bruce I'm skipping the pleasantries and diving straight into how you get all those cats in your cages!  :chuckle:

Seems like it would almost be better to skip nov and dec as far as cats save a lot of gas
