Trapping again
«
on:
February 14, 2014, 07:47:20 PM »
My dad passed away in January and haven't felt much like getting out. About two weeks ago I started putting out a few sets but not really putting much time into it. Heart just wasn't into doing much.
Just started feeling like doing something recently. I've been catching a small amount of fur but nothing worth a picture really.
Had a fairly good day today so I snapped a pic.
Two otter and two very dirty civets.

Also sorry to hear about your dad. I'm sure he'd want you back out after the fur. I have found skinning furs gives me a great time to reflect.

Very wet today as this cat can attest but I do like the stormy days.

Never weigh them. Skinned and fleshed but not stretched. I'm thinking a blanket.
Want to hear something funny. Caught it in an otter set baited with artificial fish. I think he just wandered into it. Dumb luck!

Caught this fella today. Thought he was a real pretty one even though he is awful red.
Love this stormy weather even though my water traps were flooded out today.
4 soggy, dirty civets too. Hey, they pay the gas bill.
