I HAD AS MANY AS 28 OUT THIS YEAR AND IT ABOUT KILLED ME. I HAVE A FULL TIME JOB AND THAT MANY WAS LIKE HAVING A SECOND JOB, AND IT WASN'T EVEN FUN SO I HAD TO SCALE BACK. I WAS LOOKING AT GETTING SOME NEW WIRE AT KLUBERTANZ AND THE SHIPPING IS ALMOST AS MUCH AS THE WIRE. I AM LOOKING AT THICKER GAUGE WIRE AND VINYL COATED THIS TIME. I AM TRYING TO ELIMINATE SOME OF THE ROD I'VE BEEN PUTTING IN MY BIG WOODS

Caught this guy today. I know he doesn't look like much because he is so wet but I think he will turn out pretty spotty.
I caught him  on Quinault Ridge which I have avoided trapping because of the fear of getting my traps snowed in. There was snow  until two days ago but it all went with the rain. I haven't trapped up there for easily 15 years even though it is close to home.

Very nice! That cat had my name on him though  :chuckle:
I was planning to make a trap line through there for the last few weeks of season but I have been having problems with my truck all month so last week I pulled all my traps and called it good for the year.
Looks like decent color for around here too. Not quite as red as all the other ones you've gotten this year.
