Just ordered a bison armory 6.8 spc complete upper

I ordered a bison armory complete upper with a 20" barrel. This will be my first ar so I decided to go with a caliber that would work for hunting. I will most likely use it for target shooting and coyote hunting.
I'm still trying to decide what optics to go with cause I want to be ae to shoot 0-500 yards.

Congrats on the 6.8 upper. Bison makes top notch equipment. When you finally do get it, I'm sure you'll be more that happy. My Bison upper shoots 1/2 MOA at 100yards. I bought it used so I didn't have to deal with the supply issue...

They seem to have developed a customer service issue of late. I hear about people inquiring with them and being ignored. It's really unfortunate.

I imagine it just current state of affairs. All the high quality builders seem to be booked for months and months. I think they should at least answer peoples emails. Did they quote you a ship date?

I'm waiting on a .458 SOCOM barrel from another vendor, Black Hole Weaponry. Their lead time is 14 weeks. I have 10 weeks to go. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I did not get any info yet on how long it will be. I'm aware that it's a really busy shop so it's a waiting game now.

I emailed them about a week ago and am still waiting for a reply.

Do they charge your card now or when they ship the item? I'd be really annoyed if they charged now and then ignored my email.

I think the dude (Ben) is just not that savvy when it comes to computers and doesn't do email. I dont' really know. Everyone that finally gets their barrel or upper or whatever seems to be extremely pleased.

They charge you at the time of order. I emailed them a week ago due to me placing a order but never receiving a email conforming my order but the money had been drawn from my account. From all the reviews I have read I have not heard of anyone getting screwed over by them. I would just think that I would get a email reply by now.

Yep, no one is getting screwed over. Just the lack of communication is annoying. Once you receive your upper, I think you'll be happy.
