I would hope so......just walk on up...let a little climb the same tree...let the string go.
wouldn't that be nice.  Maybe I'll climb the tree to and just finish him with a knife.

Putting this out there for all to witness....if D-Rock allows me to get a bear with a bow before him then he is a huge sissy face. There....I said it. Challenge laid down. Spring or general season.

Pshaw....I'm getting a boo boo with the bow. I'll even carry your bow for you on a spring hunt so you have the option!

Yep...I know you know that I know a nice little few hundred yard walk down a narrow old lane that has good sign....would like to hang a cam along that stretch.

I need to get a few cams. That would be a good place to hang one. That whole area up there has good sign. I'm surprised I haven't heard of any being taken up there.

kelly hill and Sherman for me

:yeah:  me too.  I saw some great bears last Spring in both units

Careful up there - ran into a bruiser grizzly next to Sheep Creek a couple of Memorial Days back. Didn't draw a tag, just went for fun, to spot some critters.

I put in for Huckleberry (closest to home), 49, Kelly Hill, and Aladdin. Only have two points; hoping to get lucky.

If I don't draw, good chance I'll go buy the guaranteed Idaho tag and hunt Central Idaho wilderness, like last year. Must have seen 15+ in three days (over bait).

I've never applied for any special hunts. I couldn't find anywhere on the wdfw site where it specifies when the drawing results are up. Is it just a few days after the deadline or....  :dunno:

I bought 2 new trail cams this last weekend. Wild Game Innovations Razor 6. They were on sale at Cabela's for 79.99. Marked down from 139.99. Nice cams and simple to use. Now I need bear boxes and a spring bear tag.

I talked to the WDFW and the person told me that the draws would happen next week due to the earlier hunt dates. Not sure if it's true but it's what I was told.

Went ahead and put in for 101 also....
So might be over your way earlier than normal campmeat...
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.
