I'm a little confused. I see nothing in this thread that is specific about what Ms. Wecker has done to "love wolves." The Washington State wolf management plan was publicly driven over several years and has buy-in from a wide range of user groups.
In other commission business, I have found her to be strongly pro-sport (as opposed to commercial) and very well educated and qualified.
She has my support.

I am inclined to agree with you and I am not sure that she would be replaced by anyone better for hunters/fishers. My guess is that if she was replaced we would lose ground with her replacement. There are other commissioners who are much bigger wolf supporters.  :twocents:

I just got home from a fishing group meeting. They made it a point to have their members send an email in support of Wecker.

Commercial fishing groups are opposed to her..That should say something....
