My 17yr old son has several shirts with NRA and guns on them. One is a Springfield Armory shirt with an AR15 on the back of it. I warned him that he might get in trouble and he said "well Grandpa told me that if I get kicked out of school for this shirt he will take me hunting until they let me back in school" lolHe wears at least two of them every week since school started and has never had a problem until about two weeks ago when a teacher finally told him to put a jacket over his Springfield Armory shirt. He laughed, walked away and said "this is my favorite shirt, call my Grandpa and tell him I can't wear it". He is still wearing the shirt to school and the teacher hasn't said a word since. With the way things are today I am quite surprised he hasn't been kicked out but so far he has got away with it.
After reading this... I think there is an agenda being pushed. Yikes
My boy goes to school next year and I am sure I will be in the principals office often. My kids are both lifetime members of the NRA and both well versed in firearms and firearm safety. With that being said....my boy is very vocal and very into guns...this will surely lead to problems in our public school system. Maybe I will just break the ice on the first day and send him to school in his NRA shirt.
