Point No Point Today
« on: February 21, 2014, 06:33:55 PM »
I saw this all the time in Alaska but never in Puget Sound. This guy breached at least a dozen times and was slapping a fin on the water after each jump. Maybe it's lost! Even ended up with a blackmouth in the boat too!

Yeah it put on quite a show there for awhile. We just stopped fishing and watched.

Very cool.  The only thing I have ever seen at PNP is a bunch of fishermen in waders, with nothing on the line.  Good job!!

I'm in the pic holding the fish and I don't think you wanna see it. The fish is better looking than me. :yike: Maybe just look at it with one eye open then it won't hurt so bad. There were probably a dozen seals out there today. Don't know how I got the fish to the boat before they found out about it anyway it's one they didn't get.

We went back up there today and got skunked not even a bite! :bash: Not even any seals. I guess no seals means no fish. :dunno:

I have seen them at the mouth of the Snohomish before in 9 feet of water. That was weird to see but I guess they feed there regularly. They scoup up mouths full of mud and siphon out the sand sand shrimp and clams. Anyway, never saw any at Point no Point. I have seen the Orca's out there a few times, that's always cool to see. Fishing sucks when the Orca's are there though. Lol  Looks like you had a great day on the water. One to remember.
