I could have killed at least one tom a day WITH MY BOW if I hadn't already tagged out on the opener.

You killed 7 turkeys last year on the opener?

Don't know where you hunt, but in NE Washington you can only tag two during spring.  :chuckle:

:chuckle:  I must be reading the regs wrong.

Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I see in the 2014 regs it still says three turkeys can be taken in the spring (2 in eastern WA), but why are we allowed to buy 7 tags? I swore I read an article last year that said they had increased the spring bag limit, but looks like I was wrong.  :dunno:

I added three more during deer season in the NE.  Could have added one more later in the year if I had wanted to drive that far for just a dumb bird.  The seventh would have been if I wanted to tag an Eastern over here on the wetside or another Merriam in the Klick.

If the draw repeats from last year it should be up tomorrow.  Last years draw was out on Thursday the 7th.  Maybe this Thursday will be my lucky day.

Last years submittal date - Thursday, February 28th
Last years draw date - Thursday, March 7th

I'm just guessing here but....
This years submittal date - Friday, February 28th
This years draw date - Friday, March 7th

Should be either today or tomorrow...

Last season they had a problem with the company that did the drawing and the guy I talked to said they were going to be changing vendors. Anybody hear this as well? If they did change you would think the new company would be aiming to please by getting the results done asap :dunno:. Just saying.
