we headed south and almost ate a 5x5 whitetail that was GORGEOUS, but do you think he would stop for a pic.

The day progressed and the bucks kept getting BIGGER.
I spotted a HUGE buck.  walking basically between two hunters but below them.  Lilly was having trouble seeing him with the binos, so I dug out the spotting scope.  NO ATTACHMENT for the tripod.  I dug in the camera case and got one.  Then NO TRIPOD to fit that attachement. :bash:  Dug through the camera case and found the right one.  Got it set up at Lillys level.  Looked for a second to confirm HOW BIG he was...then went to set u :bash: the camera.  Had to add the extender as it was Miles away by now.  Got set up just before he followed the doe over the hill.  She was in a hurry.  Sooooooo SORRY for the poor pics of this big buck.  He had tines to die for.

We went back the next day to look for him.  It was a decision I decided to make.  It was off to the Entiat or go after a know buck.  Then this guy appeared and we got to see a much smaller but nice buck.  My discalimer is that most of these pics would not have even been possible.  Whether it was enar dark as in this latter case, or a mile away....

After this we went elsewhere and saw the buck featured in the post Bones Bucks II.  He was a dandy in my book.  This little guy was right next to him.....
I am also going to start a thread with some more sheep pics in it.

Yes indeed, thats what I meant by another one.  Unbelievable.  I have been in the valley a long time and to see two in one year on opposite ends of the valley.   :o
