A few wintering elk...

Drove past these wooly guys yesterday. Still two 6x's holding antlers in the group. One bull had dropped already

Nope. Everyone knows this spot though as well. And Joe Watt had no elk with no snow

Looks pretty familiar to me, although I could be wrong seeing as all the land on that side looks similar.  :dunno:
Ain't nothing better than the adrenaline you get when seeing an animal in the wild.

that looks like the same area I found a poached elk this weekend. Antlers were cut off and the rest was left.

LoJack, are those your footprints in the snow I saw in my antler hunting area?????? Those elk look very familiar, didn't see any bulls with them two weeks ago.
