Is the multi-season tag drawn before the application deadline for special permits? Or, asked another way, when does the multi-season tag get drawn??Results are announced officially at the end of April. they however ususally have them out mid month. I seem to remember getting results usually by the first week of turkey season. My question is do you have to actually buy the tag before putting in for other draws? I have been drawn and always assumed that you had to actually buy the tag before putting in for additional draws or you were not able to put in for multiple seasons. For example applying for archery, muzzle loader and rifle tags. I was under the impression that if you did not buy the multi season tag you were limited to applying for one seasons draws.

Quote from: Biggerhammer on February 26, 2014, 10:07:03 AMI don't personally know a single guy that's drawn a Multi-Season Elk. Out of all the guys I'm around and hunt with. Really? I've drawn (and declined it) twice, my buddy has drawn muti elk and deer at least 5 times. Almost everyone that I know has drawn it at least once.

so why do you bother putting in for it if your not going to purchase the tag? Taking away a tag from a guy that will pay for the tag.
Is the cost of the MS deer tag being reduced this year?

I think it was something like a reduced price if bought with something else, not bought separately. I thought it was like a $40 drop.
Quote from: teanawayslayer on March 26, 2014, 06:07:43 AMso why do you bother putting in for it if your not going to purchase the tag? Taking away a tag from a guy that will pay for the tag. Some find they are not in the financial position they thought they would be by the time the drawing is done. Others think they are "sticking it to the man" by screwing over their fellow blood brothers. Then they complain when the cost of general license and tags go up five bucks I understand the first one. Haven't ever understood the logic of the second.
Multi season deer tags and second deer tags are going to decrease in price, according to the 2014 proposals, which will be adopted by the WDFW Commission in a couple weeks.http://wdfw.wa.gov/about/regulations/2014/wsr_14-03-135.pdf

If you spend $117.50 on deer+elk+bear+cougar w/discounted small game license + 180 multi season for a total of $297.50, they are now subtracting $39 from that total for $258.50. Am I reading that correctly?
